apdenmark (in Denmark known as JBF) has produced stretcher bars since 1938 and is to this day still mainly a family owned company run by the fourth generation. The insistence on quality has kept the production on Danish soil which is a part of the secret behind the business success of apdenmark.
By keeping the production domestic, apdenmark has been able to secure a high and consistent quality of our products, and have followed with time by developing a highly automated production that has been able to help the around 30 employees making great and lasting stretcher bars.
Today, apdenmark is supplying the print and the art industry all over the world. Millions of our stretcher bars are being distributed around the globe every year. In addition to that we are also supplier of a whole range of artist materials, including stretched canvasses.
